Digging the Trenches
As we have been learning about the ANZAC's we decided to dig trenches and pretend we were ANZAC soldiers. We dug our trenches then got our draft writing books and wrote a diary entry about our feelings and what we might have seen, heard and smelt if we were actual ANZAC soldiers. Great work Room 2.
A Special Day
On Friday the 24th of April Saint Joseph's had a special Liturgy for ANZAC day. We had a special guest who talked to us about why ANZAC day is important to New Zealand, especially on this 100 year anniversary. After our Liturgy we headed outside to view the white crosses and listen to the last post.
